"it's a great area to walk, lots of kids and friendly people all the time. So buy a bark collar for you dog if you don't build a fence. "
  • Dnid79
"Halloween and Christmas! Movie night at the fire house for the city, Bohemia Mining Days and the Carnival."
  • Wendi M.
"Schwartz Campground is close by and nice hiking and biking trails are right out your front door. Dorena reservoir is very close as well."
  • Toni L.
"I used to like living here...but then again Im an adult now and I was a sheltered child. Too many people and the city is not spread out enough for traffic. It takes 15 minutes to get from one end to the other when it used to be less than 5. People are nice, but very nosey. Cant wash my car, change the oil, mow the lawn without 5 people in that time, saying “me next”. We do have walmart, safeway and bimart. Not enough cafes to enjoy.its just your basic mcdonalds or the 3 expensive restaurants ($20+ per plate). And tweakers EVERYWHERE. Im ready to move."
  • M
"Nice place to raise a family. Good people around and lots to do. Bike paths that run all threw town and lots of fishing holes waterfalls lakes and streams good little town where you feel right at home"
  • McKinnon
"This is a small community that fosters a good deal of spirit. Neighbors watch out for each other the people you see every day become friends. I have lived here for 11 + years now and raised 8 children here with great success the schools are great the town offers lots to do all year round and is generally family friendly with lots to explore and do out side crime is almost nil and the local police are fantastic"
  • Andrea I.
"My Husband drives all over the state for work. It is less than 5 minutes to the highway and only 20 minutes to Eugene. Nice flat roads, for when there is ice or snow."
  • Jani k. C. G.
"I work from home so this Durant really apply to me. When I did commute in the past, I loved the 20 minute drive to Eugene. It’s beautiful territory! "
  • Teek728
