"Depends what area of Waukegan you live. It’s getting better throughout the years. Just don’t let kids out when it gets dark. A lot of families live and be outside in the summer. "

"Not a good neighborhood too much petty crime. I do not feel safe walking alone. Too many shootings nearby. Too many people walk on the street and risk getting run over. Waukegan is not a good place to raise a family. "

"Dog friendly, but heavy salting in winter that’s tough on paws. Doggie stations around for pickup, but often times out of bags or not in a convenient location. "

"I think it is an ok neighborhood. Don’t really like it because it has a lot of batches and they don’t fix fast. They do good job at cleaning the streets but that’s probably because of the school."
