For 5 years, my son with a diagnosis of ASD and ADHD went to this school, he was treated with outmost respect and kindness.He got a lot of help in academics and behaviour management. He got speech therapy and occupational therapy plus biweekly sessions with social worker.From his class teacher to teaching assistants and from Principal Mrs Frost to school nurse to traffic guard Donna outside the school, I have extreme respect and love.Salute to this school and its staff.Hugs to everyone

Sure, Neuqua can showcase high standardized testing scores, but developing well rounded students and really wrapping around students is a large weakness.

Not an optimal academic environment for kids. The 8th grade PA science teacher was very disorganized, often flustered/seemingly overwhelmed and favored videos as a teaching instrument instead of classroom instruction. The geometry teacher did not actually teach as it was a “flipped classroom “ and instead assigned instructional videos, with the students expected to self-teach and ask questions if they didn’t understand the material. The geometry teacher’s general arrogance made it difficult to communicate why his approach to teaching was not beneficial to the students. My child’s now at Neuqua Valley and it is a far superior academic environment. Our child’s high school teachers are organized, have provided the students with a syllabus outlining the respective course, and actually provide classroom instruction.
