      "Rollout antique car show. Library in town has events, book sale, outdoor flea market, book club. 3 churches. Firehouse has dinners, & breakfasts. lots of walking trails. 6 local restaurants in walking distance. Town park has ball games & yoga. Local music at 2 of the restaurants. Local farm has market, hayrides & you pick."

      "Halloween is spectacular. library often holds book sales. car shows at local park. it is a very friendly neighborhood. "

      "If you don't mind driving 15 minutes to get to a grocery store or tiny malls with, say, an auto parts store, dollar store, walk-in clinic, etc., you're fine here. Major shopping is about 25 minutes away, still not a big deal. But you're not going to actually get anywhere walking around here unless you're just doing it for exercise. The LANTA bus and the Bucks County senior bus comes up here, but mostly if you don't have a car, you're out of luck in these parts. It's not a city, nor even a suburb. This is mostly old farms (a few still working), retirement homes and a few residential communities. There are more and more high-density developments going in, but in the past decade, the townships have gotten a clue about how to control that kind of mess. So it'll likely remain rural at least for the foreseeable future. I rated safety as good, as long as you stay off the road shoulder (meaning, don't walk there unless you have to) because there is a good amount of traffic, and some of it is large semi trucks and they fly through here and are not careful. If you have pets, keep them indoors unless you're with them, because there are coyotes and bears that do roam around here occasionally, and we've had more than one (undocumented but from reliable witnesses) of a possible cougar roaming around. The other safety issue is guns. There are many public and private hunting grounds around here, so in the major seasons, it's wise to wear something blaze orange just to be extra visible, and certainly don't let your dogs run loose then because they're likely to get shot by some over-excited hunter. But once you're here a while and people get to know you, they're friendly and the school system is great. The schools, fire halls and churches tend to the hub of most community-based social events, though now and then there will be a parade or picnic or fair sponsored by local civic groups. "
