The backyard is perfect for outdoor entertaining, as many social events have been held at this historic home over its history. There is a half bath accessible to the backyard, without entering the home, for such occasions. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, an island, breakfast nook and pantry. The 350 sq. ft. sun room has its own heat/air unit and overlooks the entire backyard. The backyard is enclosed by a 6 foot high privacy fence. Although the original home was built in 1836, a master suite was built in the 1960's which includes a master suite and guest suite. Both bathrooms were recently completely renovated. The 550 sq. ft. front porch is beautifully accented with original ornate French wrought iron. The home has central heat and air, with the upstairs and sun room having separate units. We have wonderful neighbors but when you're relaxing in the backyard or the sun room you don't know anyone else is around!
