The staff here is some of the most dedicated staff of teachers and principals I have ever known. The school itself consists of a small amount of children which I feel is one of the main reasons why this school excels at what it does. The classrooms are generally around 15 students each (give or take a few), and the grades are taught by one teacher each. I really wish there was a 4.5 rating and as much as I love this school, there are problems with it that goes beyond the staff's dedication with their children. That being the overall condition of the school. It is an older building which has seen it's share of care and love, but the age is evident. I do not feel this is at any way the fault of the staff, but of the utter lack of funding. The PTO at this school has a set of dedicated teachers at the helm. The Principal attends every meeting, and all parents are encouraged to come and attend. However, the involvement of parents/guardians is very small. The PTO is active and very dedicated to providing children attending every advantage it can afford to provide. I am very happy to have my children in this school. It truly is a gem in the rough.
