"People from other towns or communities will dump their unwanted pets in or around Walters, and it has created a problem with starving strays."

"Long in all directions, but decent enough scenery. Expect to have a commute, because jobs are rare in Walters. It’s roughly a 30 minute drive going in any direction to work or shop."

"Too many strays in this town. Not much being done about it. Some dogs are vicious. There is a very large amount of stray cats, with a lot of inbreeding. "

"We use to have a neighbor but she moved after the flood. Now she comes and goes getting stuff out of her house. We live a mile from a public park and we are a blocks from uptown. "
