About this House
Unique property- Double home with very large attached block building that used to be living quarters and a 3rd floor that used to be caretakers quarters!
In the front on 5th street is a large 4 bedroom 1 bath half double, the opposite side is a 3 bedroom 1 bath half double. Attached to the house is a block building about 120' long x 50' wide that runs to 5-1/2 street, with 2x12 joist plywood flooring-used to be residences for elderly but I converted them into storage units. Each room is about 12x15 and there are about 10 of them. There is also a large mens and woman bath/shower room not currently in use which would need renovation to be operable again or turn into more storage units. The walls are all covered in finished drywall, with ceilings suspended. There is a newer Goodyear rubber roof on the block building. This building could make a great work shop, storage, keep as storage units for additional income, or made into 2-4 more efficiency units. It also has a concrete ramp originally for handy cap use. The 3rd floor is unique, it used to be the caretakers unit, it has been shut down for 12 years and would need renovated. It has finished drywall on walls and ceilings, bathroom, kitchen, and 3 other rooms for bedrooms. Due to my age, I have no energy to continue improving this investment property. The current income is $1250/month. Rents are a little low and could easily be raised to total $1400. Plus the storage units were being rented $60/month which would be another $600/month. I converted the house to total electric, tenants pay their own utilities. House has blown insulation, replacement windows, vinyl siding, completely rewired by a certified electrician and all new plumbing as well. Have all receipts from project 12 years ago.
No rent to own as I still owe on the mortgage. Price is negotiable, I may be willing to provide some seller assist only with the DP.
Call with further questions, I am available anytime up to 9PM.
