"Commute to downtown Nashville is around 25 minutes without traffic. Evening traffic ends around 6pm. Lots of crashes I65"
  • Meghan S.
"chili cook off, memorial day party, July 4th party, labor day party, hills for great walking.............."
  • Vicki
"All kinds of fun events in our neighborhood. Easter egg hunts, parades for the Fourth of July, adult pool parties and dinner, sometimes with a live band. Also back to school parties and movies at the clock tower or pool for all ages and a yearly community yard sale. "
  • Vicki
"I’m retired, but traffic to downtown Nashville is horrible. 440 is going through construction and it’s dangerous to drive on, especially at night. "
  • Candy B.
"Very easy! Five to ten minutes to work. I just wish people would not drive up the emergency lane to make right turns. I feel I am going to get side swiped turning from the correct lane."
  • Vicki
"Great neighborhood. Everyone loves each other! Neighbors all help one another. Everyone keeps there yards meticulous and their homes in excellent condition. The Meade of Avalon is awesome!! We back up to Smith Park and it’s a great place. "
  • Rg3036
"I've lived here for a few years and everyone that I've met seems nice, but the HOA rules seem to apply to some and not the rest"
  • Adam H.

"We live and work in the area. This area has got everything you would want in a neighborhood, ranging from safety, to friendly people, to a variety of ages, with easy access to a wide variety of stores and restaurants. We have lived here more than 10 years and do not plan on moving. This area is a rare gem."

"Love this Location! It has everything you need and want in a quiet family neighborhood. Quiet neighborhood, large swimming pool, clubhouse for special events, workout room with equipment, walking trails wind for miles throughout the area with beautiful views of nearby farms, ponds, hillsides. In addition to excellent shopping in nearby Cool Springs (3 miles) and great grocery stores, there is a high rated community hospital and many doctor offices (2 miles) from here. Wonderful neighborhood with grocery store [Publix] and pharmacy (1 mile). Historic Downtown Franklin is 5 miles away, and has many fun things to do, historic theatre, boutiques, coffee shops, art festivals and antique shops. Safe designated bike trails are everywhere, leading from McKay's Mill to Cool Springs and Carothers' shopping areas and parks. This is a great neighborhood for all kinds of exercise, walking, running, biking, swimming (in large neighborhood pool), clubhouse with workout facilities, etc. We are very happy here!"
