  • Aggiestanhope
"No public transportation unless you get picked up at Walmart and want to go to Fitchburg or Leominster. But none of the public transportation buses come to lunenburg "
  • Diethmar Fajardo
"It's very quiet and schools are great! People is very friendly and is really fun to just walk around"
  • Lori M
"When the weather is good you see slot of people walking there dogs around the neighborhood. People are friendly for the most part. It’s a nice area to live. "

"We have a few neighbors that brew beer and make great BBQ... Weekend gatherings and bonfires and cookouts are great! We can also access 100s of miles of multi use trails right from our back yard... Horseback riding, mountain biking, hiking, and snowmobiling are all common activities in my neighborhood. "
  • Christine T.
"Farmers market, school sports, veterans events, coffee house, tree lighting, bandstand with weekly concerts "

  • angie d.
"I work from home. The closest store is Jax Variety 1 mile down Mass Ave. Walmart and Walgreens are in the next town of Fitchburg."
  • angie d.
"I live in this park for 4 years now and I love it, I love my neighbors it’s like one big family. Where I used to live for 17 years and I didn’t even know my neighbors. I can always count on my neighbors to help if I need it. "
  • Gabbynasif
"I have lived in my neighborhood for my entire life. It’s a great place to grow up and raise a family with all the waterfront access points around the lake"
  • Fiontar
"I've lived at our current address in Lunenburg for almost 40 years. It's a small, quiet, safe and friendly town convenient to plenty of restaurants and shopping. The town is known for good schools and just this year opened the new High School/ Middle School. There has been a fair bit of development of apartments and condos in some parts of the town in recent years, but the town does carefully limit development to help maintain the character of the town."
  • dodudley
"If you want a beautiful quiet home on the water, this is for you. Great for fishing, swimming, boating and snowmobiling in the winter."
  • Elaine D. C.
"One of my offices is in my home, which I am very lucky to be able to do. The town of Lunenburg is a "little" big town. Still has a very rural feel to it but there is shopping, restaurants and it is close to commuter railways and major highways. Living on a lake is absolute heaven."
