"My commute is pretty easy. I tend take back roads to avoid tolls, of if in a hurry I am located close to main highways. "
  • Lindsayjoe19
"the neighborhood consists mostly of small shared lawns, and multifamily homes. territorial dogs will be barking constantly. "
  • Laurennuse
"Very easy close to town, beautiful quaint and neighborly down town. Safe area, lots of nice diverse restaurants "
  • Amanda A.
"It would be great if the town was more dog friendly. More parks for dogs. Instead we have a police department post on Facebook that dogs aren’t allowed in a park they have been allowed in for over 10 years, and even has a poop stand."
  • Sierra L.
"Exeter has several events and festivals through all seasons. We have ufo festival, many historic events, along with a wonderful farmers market that occurs weekly. "
  • Margaret J.
"Exeter is a beautiful area and has many things to offer a tourist. It also has bus service, which is convenient. I love walking around the area and I like the fact that on most of the streets they have polls so that you can clean up and dispose of your pets mess. "
  • Jackie S.
"it is loved by many- does not have too much diversity, so many of the rich town's in the jr. high and high school that go to this school consist of teens who are biased , judgemental and make fun of anyone who is not preppy rich or super athletic . otherwise it is an okay town, close to the beach , (which is absolutely freezing in the water, however absolutely beautiful). you're within driving distance to fields/farms, 30 min from mountains, and close to historic cities. very great rec and school sports/pride. I'm moving south because I just can't do the winters here anymore, it's only warm for a few months and we spend too much time cooped up inside. but my last straw was the cost if living , it has gone through the roof for everything, mostly rentals . compared to the rate of pay and being a small business owner on a street 2 minutes from the Atlantic Ocean, business just wasn't working out. there is definitely a lot of people who adore the seacoast, but mostly those are people who were born here (I was too, but there aren't many opportunities for my generation )"
  • Dawn E.
"My neighborhood is a quiet tree lines street with space between the house and each backyard is very private facing woods. The commute to downtown is two miles away on a two lane road."
  • Ganderoo
"Over 55 Park Very quiet and nice people. Slow speed limit. Wild turkeys everywhere Exeter is one of the most historic towns in NH"
  • Claruska
"My neighbors are all wonderful, and the neighborhood gets better every year. New development, businesses, and people maintaining their homes make it a great place to live. Busy, yet still calm and inviting."
  • Ganderoo
"Very quiet area over 55 park in a very expensive area to live in southern New Hampshire. Very wooded and near a river."
  • Ganderoo
"Very quiet and people are helpful and friendly. We have been here for 4 months. In this area , rents and housing are very, very high priced. This mobile is a no brainer on a fixed income. "
  • Allison A. P.
"Live here. Exeter Hospital is within walking distance, there is public transportation available within walking distance. Town Hall, Library, Park, Shopping within walking distance, close to major routes, Boston within 1 hour drive."
  • Lisa
"After living in Stratham NH for 7 years, we moved to Exeter, NH and have been here for over 10 years now. We have a little bit of everything... a beautiful downtown, train station, shopping, hotels, our own hospital, a nice park on the river, close to the highway and beaches. What more could you ask for?"
