I agree, even almost 10 years later communication is lacking somewhat. I would like to know what happens all the time in the classroom not just when your child is acting up. Progress reports are not very informative. For example, why does he have an N? What can we do to improve? This is a small school only preschool through 2nd grade....that's actually something we really like. No worry about if our 5 year old is being picked on by kids twice his age. The class size is desirable about 15 or less to 1. My son was placed in advanced reading in kinder this year and seems to be very cool with it and keeps up very well. Overall communication has definitely been our biggest problem. My little man rides the bus because we are a very rural community. they've forgotten him twice and didn't pull him off the bus twice after me calling in and asking if I could pick him up that day. That's a huge deal since we live almost 10 miles from school! Had we missed him, we would've had to drive an additional 10 miles to pick him up from the bus barn.

"Some dog owners do not have their dogs contained in yards. Responsibility of other dog owners is they walk their dogs everywhere and they clean up after them"

"Very small schools. No musical opportunities. Little more biblical than educational. Really kind teachers and some good kids. Just have to find the hard working klick."

"Beautiful historic town; near outdoor adventures/Mescalero, Ruidoso, Cloudcroft; this property has easy access to many hiking trails - hike the creek for miles and never see a single person; the village is great as far as pet-friendly, safety, traffic, and community involvement; it does have a public transportation, a bus with bus stops that goes to Alamogordo and the Ruidoso area; the only thing missing is a variable nightlife and entertainment - there's a Farmer's Market and one really cool bar (Tulie Catina), but other than that, there's not much going on entertainment-wise. It's great for kids; it's safe, you can walk home from school, the town is really involved in all sports activities, and everyone does luminarias together for Christmas."

"I live here w/my Husband. Due to illness, we must move to a moist climate, state. We have private, but friendly neighbors. Open skies, fresh air & no crime rate here. We are 3 miles out of the village of Tularosa, on a nice paved road. Also..... we have REDUCED THE PRICE OF OUR HOME FROM $149,900 TO $139,900."
