2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is an amazing school with amazing academics and athletics. There are so many opportunities offered to EVERY student here. Not only does WHS provide a great high school education, it also provides wonderful preparation for college. Also WHS is the best school in the area as far as academics (compared to Southside, Northside, and Riverside). It offers more AP classes and more athletics than these schools. Most teachers care about their students education (unfortunately I cannot speak for all of them) and administration does a good job of running the school while creating a bond with students at the same time. It is fair to say if u did not or do not enjoy your experience at WHS it is because you aren't/werent trying to.Student Review9y ago - Check out schools near 319 E 10th St.

"I live in the in the government housing. we often have kids running around and playing and older kids playing basketball. there sometimes can be drama but its generally safe for little kids because everyone knows each other. sadly at night it's very dark so I don't like going out at night just in case.
