Additionally, the property features a 1,014 sq.ft. second-floor wine tasting room with panoramic views over the vineyard, above a climate-controlled wine storage space. The vineyard is approved for a winery of up to 25,000 cases of wine per year, and zoning allows for various agritourism options, food services, weddings, special events, and farm labor housing, among other potential uses. Manton is a small town of approximately 350 population, sitting at 2,000 ft elevation, not far from Lassen Volcanic National Park with its 500,000 visitors a year, mostly in summer months. The Tehama County seat of Red Bluff (pop.15,000) is 32 miles west of Alger Vineyards, where Interstate 5 crosses over the Sacramento River, half-way between Redding (pop. 95,000) and Chico (pop. 100,000).
