TK thru Kinder are the most unenthusiastic and unhelpful teachers. They do not assist with shoe tying nor put on backpacks or jackets if students are struggling. In class volunteers aren’t allowed which I’m sure is for a reason. My student was not comfortable speaking up and when she did was met with my-way mentality from the teacher. They may teach the curriculum however it is not a fun nor loving environment which is crucial to kids in trust building, confidence building, and creating love for school the first 2 yrs!! Very sad and wouldn’t recommend.

I went here in the early 2000s and it was an amazing school. P.E. Program most teachers & the admin, school dances were great. Now as a parent & as a staff of the stan union school district. This school allows the students to run the school. I’ve feel bad for the students who are here to actually there to learn. The others are not held accountable at all for their actions. They get up walking in and out of the classroom as they please and have no consequences to the actions. They also removed in school suspension which Roosevelt has kept thankfully! They are doing something right. Ive been there as well. So teachers have to pick and choose their battles with students either let them do whatever they want on their Chromebook and try to teach the other students there who are respectful either way students lose their learning because the teacher is trying to fix the behavior of students. The School really needs to hold parents and students accountable for the behaviors. There’s no way that these children are going to be ready for high school.

Horrible, my kid got Saturday school because they came looking for him but had the wrong name and pined the situation on him stating it was his fault, and gave him a truancy even though he was in class.
