I go to Bret Harte and it's really fun. The teachers care about the students, they actually have common sense, and we're very CONNECTED and EMPOWERED by them. The electives and clubs you can join are also great, especially the music programs like band, guitar and orchestra. Chock full of very passionate music kids. The school library is better than some Oakland branches, the librarian is the absolute best, the kids run book club (best club ever!!!!!!!!!) and there's a TON of different books. If you actually pay attention in class, that's pretty interesting too. PLEASE COME TO BRET HARTE WE NEED THE STUDENTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Skyline has provided my student with challenging classes and very supportive teachers and staff. From what I've seen and experienced, teachers take a strong interest in students and really want them to succeed. There are so many clubs, sports and student activities for students to choose from. The track and field and cross country programs in particular are heavily invested in and are some of the best high school athletic programs I've seen. There are innumerable resources and opportunities if your student is willing and able to go after them.
