"It depends what part of Weirton, locations here I wouldn’t live, others are very nice. What I do Like is that everything is here that you need, other than a mall...but a shopping mall isn’t far-one in Steubenville Ohio. Its convenient for everything else tho!"
  • Mistiblu S.
"I have lived here since 2012 it’s very quiet and dog friendly The neighborhood is very well kept and everyone is very cordial "
  • Michael W.
"Weirton is perfectly situated....it's a small city with old-fashioned charm: no parking meters, Christmas parade, etc. Quiet neighborhood, no traffic to speak of. Very low property taxes and cost of living. Tremendous scenery (especially in the fall). Community center includes indoor pool, racquetball, etc. When we want more entertainment and bigger-city amenities, Robinson (PA) is about 20 minutes away - just about every retail and restaurant name can be found there. Pittsburgh is 35 minutes away - museums, professional sports, symphony, theater, etc. It's wonderful to spend time enjoying Pittsburgh's many activities, then returning to quiet, laid-back Weirton. "
  • debbie_babe
"SUPER CLOSE TO WEIRTON MEDICAL CENTER AND RT 22- GREAT LOCATION"
  • Michael W.
"Small-town feel, with low crime, virtually no traffic issues, and really friendly people. Nice community center with indoor pool. Cross the bridge to Steubenville when you need a mall, or 20 to Robinson (shopping, restaurants, movies, nightlife, etc.) Ten more minutes to Pittsburgh. Close enough to take advantage of all that Pittsburgh has to offer: sports, museums, theater, etc but removed from the city traffic and taxes. Love it here!"
  • Jackjk33

"Marland Heights is a nice neighborhood perfect for couples/families. There is a park, pharmacy, country club, and mini mart. It is a safe area and is great for taking walks. "
