I only wish that they had full days kindergarten but they do learn a lot for the time that they are there.Parent Review11y ago12 Reviews - Bywood El School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is the WORST!! not only is it over crowed but there are fights that break out all the time, it feels unsafe to come into school ever day but even if we do we don't learn anything. the school lumps in kids who are obv struggling with kids who dont try. if you need help dont brother going here, because they wont pay attention to you because they focused on getting the fights under control. and not only that but the kids are super mean. not to mention theyres no lunch room anymore so.... the only strengths are the classes and after school activities . dont go here its a hot MESSSSSsStudent Review2mo ago24 Reviews - Check out schools near 313 Clearbrook Ave.

"Good neighborhood to live in. A lot of diversity. Clean and quiet. The worst part is the school district. Teachers are pretty good but overall the school district is not good."

"I lived in Lansdowne for most of my life. My grand pop bought my house brand new so over the years there has been many changes (80+years). The taxes are awful and the school district isn’t what it use to be. There are many Victorian homes that are beautiful. Lansdowne is a pretty town but I honestly feel uncomfortable to walk outside in the dark. "

"It’s horrible this area has really went down over the years and so did the school district. I have lived in Upper Darby for 9yrs it’s almost as bad as philly the kids are horrible and so are most parents I rather relocate then to deal with how ratchet Upper Darby has become it’s sad because it was once a beautiful place when I was a kid but it’s nasty and disgusting now "

"Even though I don’t take the train anymore, the Lansdowne train station is a little more than a mile from me. I would hop on the Media/Elwyn line and could be downtown in 15 min."

"There can be a lot of noise, loud music with negative messages. There seems to be a lot of marijuana use these days in certain places on the south side of town. Everything you need is close and easy to get to. Traffic is always thick."
