6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageRude office ladies. Every time I call it’s like I’m an inconvenience. The attendance lady is a nightmare. The guidance counselor secretary might be worse. My son hates going into there. Whether it be for a new lunch card or if he’s feeling ill. He avoids the place like it’s a plague. You’d think they would hire ppl to work in there who idk don’t mind talking to ppl and don’t treat them like shhit. People who like being around kids all day. But what do I know. The principal is new and im convinced he has no clue what he’s doing. The principal last year was there for awhile and was great while my daughter was there. Teachers have been great. Which that’s most important. Just wish the administration could get there heads out of their rears.Parent Review2mo ago4 Reviews - Prairie Creek Intermediate School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is one of the worst schools i have ever been too. The students are very disrespectful, they cuss at you when they get the chance and act immature for their age. They don’t have any manners, so much so that they don’t just bump into you sometimes, they shove you. There is always some sort of drama, the worst part is i was bullied here, during my first year. I was called fat, and instead of other kids helping, they joined the bullying. I told a teacher and all they did was “talk” to the bullies. Kids never get punished, only for random things, in my entire year there, Only once a kid was suspended, for a day. This kid was literally throwing chairs at the class windows and was trying to stab us with broken pieces of plastic. One day is absurd. Teachers teach you pretty good, besides from the fact they make you sit on your computers most of the time. You have to always be on your computers, the teacher just has to give instructions and boom! Done teaching. The staff, excluding teachers, are rude. They give prettu robotic responses to a misbehaving student like “You need to be in class.” Like thats gonna help. "I do not have any personnel knowledge of public transportation as I don’t utilize it but I do know there is a bus stop about a block from our residence. With the change in seasons and time change this weekend, people will be coming out as weather permits. There will a reunion of sorts since we’ve finally ventured out. In the Spring there will be garage sales, summer will have festivities all over the neighborhood & surrounding towns. Fall will welcome kids back to school & winter will have Christmas decorations & lights in the neighborhood "

"Neighbors are all friendly. Summertime there are planned get together and spontaneous gatherings. Kids ride their bikes and the little ones ride trikes or big wheels. There is a mix or generations with young families up to retired people. "

"Nice people, dog friendly and a bit older so kids not around much. Yards are kept up, snow removal becomes a commmunity affair unless snow large amount at one time. Then the paid snow removers are brought in. "

"it's not a safe neighborhood. there are gunshots on a weekly basis. I do not recommend anyone move to this area, especially if they have children. we have seen police presence, high speed chases, drug deals in the street, people walking their dogs off leash. it's not safe."

"Neighbors are friendly and kind. Neighborhood is great for taking walks and bike rides, and only a short 10 minute walk to Newbo. Pleasant neighborhood that I’ve enjoyed living in, however street lights are not always plentiful or working, so walks may be better taken during daylight. Really feel like this area is quaint and quiet, but just needs a little love from the city to give it a facelift. "
