    "This is a safe, family oriented Village where people care about each other. There are many community activities for all ages. The most recent was the Christmas tree lighting. Last year we celebrated the Village’s Centennial with a year of various public events sponsored by donations. Silver Lake is the heart of the Village. We have lived here 34 years and raised our three sons in the village. It’s like something out of a story book. "
