Description

This is one of our all-time faves in the downtown area, and things are looking up for you — the adorable Sampson Altadena unit below just came on the market. Perfectly perched on 300 South and 300 East, it’s surrounded by restaurants, local shops, and bars…and more good secrets to come [think: indoor market]. This unit has also undergone a complete overhaul, which includes such delights as a marbled-out bathroom with new fixtures, a new kitchen with top-notch appliances, and new windows, to boot. Beautifully refinished original wood floors certainly don’t hurt the bright, modern vibe of the space, either. Tons of natural light, and for those seeking outdoor access, you’re just a backdoor staircase away from the raised garden beds and ample lounging space of the condominiums. All told, she’s top-shelf and priced to sell in a hurry. Get in while you can…these little numbers have been climbing the price ladder over the last few years; we’ve slung a few of these happy space, and this is rarely-found magic right smack in the middle.

  • Camryn Fife
"Salt Lake City is a community of people who know how, when, and where they need to come together. You get all the Utah classics (soda shops, Mormon history, a plethora of hair salons), but all with a bit of SLC’s edge. Central city is the arguably the most walkable when it comes to retail and food. "
  • Emily Pipala
"Friendly people, people clean up after their dogs which is very nice. I feel safe walking around at night "
  • Trulia User
"It's safe for children, but there just aren't that many. The neighborhood is aging and most young people can't afford to live here. There are mainly young professionals moving in. "
  • Trulia User
"yes, and picks after there dogs, kids playing, adults having bbq's, close to store's, quite neighborhood, dogs don't bite, cleaning their yards, bus stations"
  • Trulia User
"New multi unit apartment buildings have been and are being constructed. A lot of construction and pipeline maintenance is going on resulting in detours and traffic issues. When all that is completed, it should be a great improvement. There are homeless scattered around but that is throughout the greater Salt Lake City area."
  • Wendy Simmons
"Charming cozy homes in a great town that makes you feel apart of a loving uptown community. I can smell the coffee brewing and I've got that cuddle up and read a book feeling. Lovely area to get out and go for relaxing walks as well."
  • Meghan M.
"Cute area with local shops. Be careful of petty crime, including car break-ins, loitering, and package stealing. "
  • Meagan L.
"Not really a great place to raise a family. And any parks around here are a good walk away if you don”t have a vehicle. It’s loud at times and not very reliable for safety. Rent is too expensive "
  • Meagan L.
"Nice if you don’t have a vehicle easy to get around because everything is close but not ideal for families, there’s always construction somewhere in this neighborhood, it’s very loud. it’s very expensive to live here. "
  • Kyle G.
"There is a lot of development happening now. Lots of homes with character. Some need some work. The commercial options are nice, it is quite walkable"
  • Loren C.
"Salt Lake City is kind of a sleepy little town. Not much going on after 8-9pm most nights............"
  • Michaela b
"There's always areas to walk around any time youd like and there's lots of walking areas. However lots of transients live around so you may deal with them bothering you to pet your animal but everyone is super friendly for the most part but late nights lots of less transients but very wishy washy. "
  • Arjun A.
"Great for dogs, walkable, close to a lot of parks. Some people don’t clean up after their dogs, it can be a minefield in some places. "
  • Emily W.
"I would not say this is a family friendly neighborhood. There are lots of random people on the streets but it is really close to the park which is very family friendly"
  • Outdoorber
"I’ve lived here for a year and a half. The people are friendly and down to earth. It is close to parks and downtown. The eating out options are fantastic. "
  • robbietanner
"This is a nice area right by smiths and close to the library, several parks and the free Trax area. Perfect for active couples or college students. Incredibly easy and fast commute to the University of Utah, City Creek and Gateway Shopping Centers, and to downtown."
