The unprofessionalism at this school is unmatched, to the point of laughing in the faces of disabled students parents because they cant accept that they are wrong. They are unwilling to work with their disabled students, leading me to believe they only offer classes for disabled children because they are forced to, or because they receive a large monetary incentive. They would rather force their diabled students parents to park a quarter mile away and have to walk them that far twice a day, in the cold rain and snow, than back the busses up 10 feet so the students whos parents need to use the handicap parking can leave after school. And rather than approching a parent professionally and speaking like adults, they would rather scream across the property. Rather than apologizing they will double down and make the parents even more uncomfortable allowijg their children to return. Worst school I've delt with in over 10 year and 3 different cities. Sadly, my daughter's teacher is amazing, but due to the actions of the rest of the staff, i am no longer comfortable allowing my nonverbal child around those types of people.

This school risk every Everything and makes kids go to school in negative weather as the busses all spin out from ice.

We are new to the district and we absolutely love this school. The teachers and staff are amazing. They truly care about your kiddos. My child has an IEP and some special education classes and everyone has been phenomenal through the entire process. The principal and assistant prinicpal are exceptional. They nipped a bully incident in the bud. Staff is very easy to communicate with. They use email alot which is GREAT. My son has made friends and really enjoys going to this school.

Ryan McTague and Carl V have destroyed this school. They have spent millions of taxpayer dollars only to create a district with a falling enrollment and dismal below state average student proficiency results. It is time for a change and new leadership. Both have been given more time than needed to prove themselves but have failed the people of McHenry. Ever increasing real estate taxes for profoundly poor results, far below those of neighboring districts, demands that the school board consider searching for better candidates.
