8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter goes to Loranger Elementary and she loves it! Her teacher is Mrs. Jennings, and I could not be any happier that she is teaching my daughter this year. I am very pleased with all that Mrs. Jennings does with her class and I am very grateful she was my daughters very first teacher. I wish we could keep her as our teacher for next year!! I hope who she has next will be just as awesome!Parent Review11y ago5 Reviews - Loranger High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI wish I had never enrolled my child in Loranger High. Here it is, the first day of school, and because one of their faculty members failed to document that my daughter turned in a text book, my child cannot enroll in her new school, as we have moved out of the parish. So the choice they are giving me is either pay for a text book that they have in their possession, or my child cannot be enrolled in any other school...UGGH! I wouldn't recommend sending a dog to Loranger High SchoolParent Review13y ago3 Reviews - Loranger Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI would never recommend this school if it’s in your district. The teachers at this school don’t care what the kids do in class as for as bullying , fighting , etc. It’s so bad this year that they even cancelled recess cause they can’t control the kids from fighting . Yesterday there was a threat at school to where they had to lock the kids in class but will not give an explanation to what the threat was once cleared by the sheriffs department. And one thing is for sure you could just walk in this school without anyone stopping you ! They claim to be a “C” average school when in fact their an “F” !!!! Plus half the time the kids have substitutes teaching them . My kids WILL NOT BE GOING BACK TO THIS SCHOOL NEXT YEAR !!!! I heard at one time it was a great school but now it’s sad to say but it’s not safe to send your kids here . Too much neglect ……..Parent Review3y ago5 Reviews - Check out schools near 31 Charleton Dr.

"It’s not super unique. It’s friendly enough though. I feel safe walking my dog, we’re close to a highway, there is some areas here and there that we stay away from but that’s the same everywhere. "

"there's a dog fighting ring that likes to abduct dogs and fight them and spent money on them and sell drugs typically at the same time so I would say that it is not safe at all for dog owners."

"My commute is minimal because I work at Southeastern, which is one of the reasons I chose to live here. That being said, the traffic in Hammond is very seldom bad, so commuting around town is never an issue. Going to and from Baton Rouge can be a problem if travel times aren’t considered. "
