About this House

This apartment is on the lower level. Second green door as you walk down the driveway. Not long ago we did a remodel job to this apartment & discovered some antique brick walls and old tongue and groove wood ceilings which we decided to leave exposed. We also added some gorgeous wooden floors to the living room. All of this made the apartment very unique and with tons of character. There are 5 apartments in the Lester-Harbin House.
The Lester-Harbin House is a beautiful three-story home located in the heart of Rome, Georgia. Rich in medical and musical history, the house stands tall near the town's city clock. A news clipping from the Rome Tribune dated October 2, 1888 tells, "Mr. B.S. Lester has built a comfortable and handsome residence on East 3rd St. near Shorter College".
309 E 3rd St #5, Rome, GA 30161 is a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment. More recently, it was listed as a rental in February 2016 with an asking price of $600 per month.
