9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children have attended Oak View for several years now. I have found the school to be top notch, and we have been extremely pleased. The teachers are fantastic and available for communications/questions when needed. There are many social events hosted by the school and various engagement opportunities for parents and other family members. My children love this sweet school, and I am grateful that we reside in this school zone and that my children have the opportunity to attend here. I do not have any complaints with this school.Parent Review1mo ago13 Reviews - Independence High School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOverall this is not a bad school, but it is in one of the worst districts, with the worst leadership you could ever come across. This district has cut a program that supports struggling students and families experiencing hardship by 85%. A program that is only 0.00% percent of the district's budget. The funds were instead diverted to cover dental plans for teachers, the district would otherwise have to cover from the district general funds. It is absolutely shameful.Parent Review2mo ago13 Reviews - Legacy Middle School

"Commute twice per week. Able to avoid the interstate and have easy drive into Brentwood. It’s not a bad commute for people who work in Nashville but it can take up to an hour some days. "

"Good area to live if looking for suburb living. It is a busy area with shipping center, kids, people, etc. that is if you can handle the traffic, noise, and hand full inconsiderate drivers. However living here 20 plus years everything's changed. Now want out as fast as I can!"

"Lots of other dog families, close to large open field by the library and enrichment center, some sidewalks down Battle. Dislikes: lots of traffic and speeding on battle, houses close to the road, closest dog park would be Pinkerton Park or Harlinsdale"
