4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is not a school I would recommend. I went to this school from preschool-8th grade and there were some questionable teachers and students. Kids with different opinions are bullied and teachers definitely have favorites. If your kid likes sports, than you have to be good and close friends with the coach. Or really good. The teachers don't really do anything about misbehaving students either. AGAiN, I would NOT recommend this school to new students.Other Review5mo ago - Mayville Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMayville Elementary has been a GREAT school. I've had great communication with all the teachers my 4th grader has ever had since kindergarten, great communication with the principal. There is help for students who are having diffuculty learning, after school program for tutoring. For the parent who said that the teachers don't smile anymore, not true. I see them smiling alot when I am there. And to say that it is more like a prison camp, I have to disagree with you. You must not realize that there has to be rules to be followed to ensure the safety of the kids and their well being. It's the real world. When your kids get out of school and get a job, are they going to quit that job because their boss has too many rules or stipulations, or runs it like a so-called 'prison camp?'
