Craftsman Home built in 1913 by famous architect Aaron T. Simmons. Simmons designed and built most of the Cedar Hill historic district which is east of the house. The home was built using a French country style.

Directly behind the house is open land owned by the Immanuel Bible Foundation then the Illinois Weslyan University track and football field. To the east is the Immanuel Bible Foundation grounds and building. It is like living in the country in the middle of town! To the West are historic homes then the BroMenn Regional Medical Center. We are only the third owners of the home.

Some of the antiques stay with the home or are available to stay at a reasonable negotiated price. With the exception of the upstairs bathroom and 3rd floor maids quarters all wood work is original. Beautiful baseboard and overhead trim.
