7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAbsolutely great school. Dr. Carter and Mr. Thomas are great principals who really care for the students. My children LOVE going to Keeven and how great their teachers are. The teachers are caring, supportive and I never have an issue communicating with them if need be.I had a troubled student and the way the teachers poured into him, assisting in turning his behavior around was top tier! Together we created a plan and now my student is doing exceptionally well!My children enjoy collecting Golden Paw tickets to use at the store to exchange for prizes. I enjoy regular updates on my little ones’ progress via Class Dojo.Keeven is truly a great Elementary School, from the front desk secretaries to the janitorial and lunch staff. Highly recommend!Parent Review2y ago3 Reviews - Hazelwood East High School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHazelwood East is one of those schools that had a bad reputation and has made a complete turnaround. The students are engaged in classes, and most of the teachers build bonds and connections with their students to ensure that they are learning. There are many opportunities to excel and get ahead, such as AP classes and college prep classes like ACT Prep. There are also many classes catered to student interests, from Pottery and Sports Journalism, to Drum Corps, and Concert Choir. Students can join classes that help them find their passions. There are many events throughout the school year, such as pep rallies where the drumline and cheerleaders, and athletes of the season all get hype, and other pep rallies where guest speakers come in and talk to us about important topics such as staying off drugs and following our dreams, typically followed by some cool things to watch. The counselors are very friendly and help with anything, from "that one annoying teacher" to social drama to extracurricular engagement. They have at least 100 students each, and they make sure each kid feels special. The extracurriculars at this school are very well. They extend more than just sports teams, and our sports teams are very well run. We have DECA, FBLA, TSA, HOSA, a Robotics team, an eSports team, and a couple of other technical clubs. We have a Chess club, an Art club, a Film club, and our theatre is very well known for our musicals and plays, especially the spring musical of 2025, which was SiX! The Musical: Teen Edition. Our school encourages everyone to find passion, from technical studies to performing arts; everyone has a place at Hazelwood East High.Student Review6mo ago5 Reviews - Central Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children have only been at the school for 2 months and it has been a nightmare this is the most disrespectful staff I have ever experienced the school is out of control I went to the office to pick up my children there were children in the office fighting the staff was watching they were talking about the children you cannot get help from anyone with any concerns about anything at this school I have been trying for several months my children are not new to Hazelwood School district but they are new to the school and I have never had any issues until my children began at Hazelwood Central Middle I do not recommend that any parent who cares about their child's well-being physically or emotional send their kids to the school.Parent Review1y ago4 Reviews - Check out schools near 3066 Pershall Rd.

"My neighborhood is great because it is not far from downtown or St. Charles as well. It is a wonderful neighborhood to live in and have children in. The area is not as bad as people make it out to be because of the Mike Brown protests."

"There is nothing unique about this area it sucks and I would not suggest moving here. People are stealing all the time and the people are rude. The neighbors are rude to. It is not a kid friendly place. And not to mention the gun shots every night and sometimes during the day. You don’t know if you gonna walk out and be able to come back in."
