North Branch Area Schools (NBAS) is a great small community school district. Its athletic department is one of the best in the state, considering NBAS is only a class B (Class A being the largest) school district. NBAS also has a supportive and detailed special education program for those students who need special assistance. One downside of NBAS is the bullying, no action is currently seen to fix this issue as of 2023. Many teachers here have a great care for the success of their students and their education (with a few bad apples). The administration department (curriculum directors, principles, school board, student director, staff director, superintendent) is making steps in the right direction for the students by implementing the SACP (Student Adaptive Curriculum Program) program. This program is designed to specialize students education to the way they want to learn, it gives students choice in how they learn. NBAS is one of 13 schools in the state that's implementing this program. This school also implements 21st century learning skills into the curriculum by including a STEAM Lab into 2-4 of their schools. The safety of this school has to be easily top 10 in the state, with a new lockdown system being included, new training programs for students and staff, and new lockdown technology (Centigix Crisis Alert) in case of an active shooter.

I love North Branch schools! They care about the students and pay attention to them. They address concerns that not only the parents have, but also what the children have to say.

i have been going to North Branch for 5 ish years now, in my time the school has had some....different people and how they express themselves. we have had fights (personally haven't been in one) verbal bullying and strict grading systems. with all of these cons, the north branch is nowhere near perfect, but it is great we enjoy free (decent) lunch, breakfast phones in the cafeteria, and rewards for doing well during marking periods.
