absolute worst school in Kaufman, this school is a joke!

We love Crosby! The teachers genuinely care about their students, and my daughter’s teacher always keeps me informed about her progress and we have never had any issues with any teacher. The office staff is friendly, attentive and helpful. The principal is engaging, kind, and always involved in creating a positive school environment. Mrs Bailey or Mrs Long literally drive to your students house to present a certificate and yard sign if your child is student of the month. I love that! One of the things I appreciate most is the warm and welcoming atmosphere—there is always a principal or teacher at the door greeting the kids with smiles and hugs. The school also has a great behavior reward system that encourages positive actions, and they offer a variety of after-school clubs and activities to keep students engaged. Most importantly, my child feels safe and happy here, which means the world to me as a parent.

I have significant concerns regarding this school. Communication with the staff, including the principal, counselor, and front office, has proven to be extremely difficult. Despite making 15 consecutive calls, I was unable to reach anyone. Eventually, I left a message for the counselor, who responded two days later. Additionally, there was an incident where someone attempted to steal my son's phone from his backpack, prompting him to keep it in his pocket for safety. I am uncertain about the identity of the staff member who closely monitored my son and noticed the outline of his phone in his pocket, leading to an attempt to take it from him. My son refused to hand it over since he was not using it, but as a consequence, he was placed in in-school suspension daily until he complies. Furthermore, today he was denied breakfast after being turned away at the cafeteria. I am extremely frustrated with the situation at this school. The treatment of students by the teachers is unacceptable. It is difficult to understand how a child can be denied breakfast simply for taking precautions to protect his belongings.
