Living in the town all my life, I am very familiar with the school system in this town and have almost nothing but great to say about it. Ballinger High School is one of those schools that you just cant forget, all the memories made are ones you never forget, everyone is friendly and fair and I would not have it any other way. The school spirit that BHS posses is by far the best i've seen in a high school all over Texas, even the whole town will go out of their way to support the growth and prosperity of the school, and with that being said, lets get to the negatives. BHS is under a dress code, though not as strict as some other school have, a nuisance at that. Men have to have their shirts tucked in at all times and must have their faces cleanly shaved, I can understand this for a team going out on a sporting event for away games, but at school? Speaking for everyone I can say that no one likes the dress code, is there was something I could change about this school It would be that and only that.
