"Close to the capital & downtown. Neighbors try to keep to themselves and are fairly courteous. Plenty of beautiful older homes that are being saved and renovated in the area."
  • Wherearemyspouse
"Friendly neighbors and a good price of homes. Can’t complain much, would definitely recommend to anyone."

  • Mark S.
"I live in the house for 3years and the nabers are friendly and we talk on a daily bases and we look out for each other "
  • Janie B.
"This is an ideal area for families or retirees. The houses have charm and are not cookie cutter. In the Quapaw area. Very safe and close to downtown and River Market area. Close to grocery stores and other stores."
  • Robert H. B.
"We lived in west Little Rock for nine years before moving Downtown. This is the best neighborhood in central Arkansas. It's like living in a small town surrounded by a city! We know almost all of our neighbors. It's safe and convenient. We bicycle to the River Market, the Art Center at McArthur Park, the River Trail (over twenty miles of biking/walking trails), the historic museums, and the Clinton Presidential Library/Museum. Lots of fine restaurants and fast food places. The State Capitol and Governor's Mansion remind us that we are a center of government (Federal, State, County, & Metro) and politics. "
  • Tori
"We live in this neighborhood and love it-- mostly for the charm of the older homes and friendly neighbors. Many homes are in disrepair. I'm a young woman, and I wouldn't feel safe walking my dogs after 10 pm. The nearby grocery store is pretty poor quality. The neighborhood is getting a Boulevard Bread Co.-- which adds incredible value in my gluttonous opinion. Community Bakery and Juanitas are also a few short blocks away-- but they're nothing to write home about."
