  • Brooke B.
"There are no dog parks that are good enough to be a dog park. They lack shade and grass. The water for the dogs is on the outside instead of inside where they can run freely. There should be a section of the dog park where non-friendly dogs can be off leash. There is also not enough space for the dog owners to sit while their dog(s) play."
  • Maria.alanis23
"Fiestas mexicanas, 5 de mayo, tractor parade, youth day parade that’s when winters get all together and make it special."
  • Donald B.
"If a dog gets out and is loose, there is a network of people that work together to make sure the dog is safe and the dogs owner and the dog are reunited."
  • Donald B.
"The community comes together several times a year,( youth day, earthquake festival, carnitas festival, fish fry, downtown old car shows, lighted tractor parade ) you do not get that where I grew up."
  • Torynne
"Very quiet and family friendly. Great community events and restaurants. Downtown has been cleaning up really nicely, and there’s a lot more to do, too. "
  • Torynne
"This has been home base for almost 15 years. Good quiet neighborhood. Friendly neighbors. Good food in winters. It’s coming up! "
  • Marie
"Life in Winters is like living in Mayberry. It's safe and friendly and no traffic, very low crime, good schools but not cheap. If you're cityfolk this is not the place for you. It's a slower type of life with town football games, little league, fish frys and pancakes breakfast."
  • Robert L.
"Beautiful location, quiet, great vistas, nice people (lots of UC Davis folks, staff/professors and a generally good vibe. Very close to Putah Creek watershed and park, plus Lake Berryessa. Easy drive in from 80 and beautiful road coming down Pleasant Valley."
  • torpedozoneofsalem m. c.
"This is a wonderful and safe community. We love it here. Small town feel but so close to a lot of iconic places."
  • Bosse P.
"Live here, work elsewhere. Quaint highly desirable area town, many compliments and visitors. "
  • jloren4322 g. c.
"I moved here when the town didn't have one stop light. Now it has wineries, a brewery, excellent restaurants, lots of live music, and lively local groups. It is close to Davis, Vacaville, Napa, Sacramento and San Francisco. "
