Wagner Community School really has teachers that care. They are bombarded by Standardized testing requirements because they are greatly funded by the Federal Government being located on the Yankton Sioux Indian Reservation. They are a mixed race school and this creates an interesting challenge. Also a large percentage of the community is poverty-stricken, which is another obstacle teachers face. It's incredible to see how committed most of the staff and teachers are to the bright future of each and every student. The challenges are real, and they really do the best they possibly can. Rough area, great school.
