WORST SCHOOL in the county!!! My 9 yrs. old son was is scared of the teachers and staff! Two teachers came on his bus at the end of the day and wrongfully accuses him of stealing a phone. In front of a packed bus they searched him and his book bag. The misplaced phone was found right after he was searched and the two teachers who wrongfully searched him never even gave an apology. Both the assistant principal and head principal told me on the phone they would address the issue. Nothing has been done. I went to my son school to talk face to face and Mr. Yelverton sees me and walked out the school, gets in his car and leave without even saying one word to me! Education scores at this school are SCARY LOW. Educators who obviously can’t educate. BEWARE!!!

It’s a school that is struggling to cope with a surrounding community in apparent decline and a commensurate student population accompanying that. There were limited resources available for successful students to maximize their academic opportunities. The lion’s share of teachers’ and administrators’ efforts were dedicated (not unjustly) to keeping a struggling student body afloat

The school nurse made my daughter go back to class with diarrhea running down her leg while I drove 3 mins to pick her up. Even though she told her she pooped her pants from having an upset stomach. She told her it’s probably her period but you could visibly see it through her pants. Also, my other daughter got dress coded to her shorts being to short while they weren’t showing her butt and she had lose fitting leggings underneath them. And once my daughter told the nurse her neck hurt and she couldn’t turn her head. Nurse had her go back to class and no one called me. She ended up needing an xray. She had called me from her own phone in the bathroom crying. This school also doesn’t offer orchestra. Very frustrated with this school. My kids get great grades and are not problematic children.
