Southeast Elementary is a great K-1 school. The PTA is excellent at getting parents and teachers involved in the school. The Southeast Staff is wonderful, friendly, and so helpful. The ladies in the front office always greet parents with a smile. I love the Daily 5 being incorporated into each classroom. Teachers work and plan together as teams. I like that each classroom is learning the same material. My first grader was challenged and pushed to be a great student in a loving and caring environment. His teacher always communicated with me through the homework folder. I most appreciated the warm and inviting atmosphere that the staff created in the school. As a parent, I was always able to talk to my child's teacher & know that I had been heard and understood. "It has old large beautiful trees all over in every yard of almost every house. The houses are older but well-maintained or freshly remodeled. Nice neighborhood"
