"Beautiful very quiet neighborhood and lots of trick or treaters friendly neighbors I love it a lot and it’s close to winterville"
  • Heshima W.
"i grew up here and i love it because it's small. it will always feel like home. great school, good food, friendly folks"
  • Kjhoskins
"It is a nice quiet community. The neighbors are friendly and helpful. My dog got loose and neighbors kept an eye out for him and helped to find him. "
  • Lisaboydaespta
"I've lived in this neighborhood for 20 years & can't wait to get out of Ayden. The Utility Bills are the highest around. The town management is 30+ years out of date. Roads are horrible, crime is on a rise, gang activity worse than Greenville. Governing body won't help citizens unless they know you or you can do something for the town."
  • Nate V.
"The neighborhood is nice, honestly. Most folks are quiet, and everyone pretty much keeps to themselves. You'll see people walking their dogs or jogging, but not much past that. Only real problem is the company that built the subdivision did a piss-poor job grading the land. There's no drainage, and no ditches to drain to in the first place. There's a "park" at the back of the neighborhood, presumably for children, but it's overgrown and swampy, and my four-year-old is not allowed back there; I'm worried about water moccasins. The HOA can be a little overbearing, too, and compulsory dues are a little medieval, but we've gotten used to it. That said, I'm not sure what exactly they are meant to do. Overall, my wife and I are trying to pay off this house as quickly as possible so that we can get into a new place. One with no HOA, and where I can use my yard."
  • Nate V.
"School system's terrible, but it is everywhere in NC. There is literally no drainage in Countryaire, so expect water to make your yard unworkable after a storm; a week or two is common. And the HOA loves to bother people about their yards and gardens, even when there's nothing that can be done about it. Overall it's pretty quiet , and the homes are cute, but there's pretty much zero community involvement. I live in Countryaire now, and I can't wait until my mortgage is paid down enough to move."
  • Krista K.
"Living in Countryaire Village is the perfect example of comfortable and modern Eastern North Carolina living. Located in the Greenville metro area, Ayden is in preferred southern Pitt County area. Countryaire Village is just south of Winterville on Old Hwy 11/Lee St. just before entering downtown Ayden on the right side. Easy access to Hwy 11. Only 11 miles from Vidant Medical Center and 4 miles south of Sam's Club on Hwy 11. "
