"I drive 20 minutes to Silver City for work. Not much in Bayard as far as shopping goes. We do have 2 gas stations a grocery store, and a dollar store. There are a few restaurants. Homes are decently priced in the area, a much cheaper alternative than homes in Silver. There is access to a small lake only 30 minutes from here. "

"there are lots of drug dealers and sketchy people in the neighborhoods. remind your children of stranger danger and keep your pets close to home. I also suggest bars on the windows and security screen doors."

"I don't have children so it's hard for me to say really. I do have neighbors with kids and they play in the streets and there is an ice cream truck that always goes by, so seems like a decent place for children."

"people here like to shoot dogs or steal them. They have also been know to poison them. This is not a safe place for dogs."

"I love my neighbors and feel safe here. My neighbors are friendly and always wave and say hi. I feel if I needed anything they would be there. "
