It's alright, but don't think it's too great. It's a decent school district; some of the teachers care about your education and some don't the attitude of this school and the teachers is "We'll let you do whatever you want, but when it's due, it has to be ready" A TON of students cut themselves and drugs were found there yesterday...

Very bad experience, especially with Special Ed. The school is a revolving door for teachers /staff. Most of my child's teachers are new graduates with less than 1 year of experience. Teachers can't speak freely with parents without checking with special education supervisors. Very poor transparency with parents overall. You have to wait 10 -15 days to get an email response from special ed.

Moving from the city of Philadelphia to Collegeville and having my children attend Perkiomen Valley Schools was the best decision my family made. From Elementary school, middle school and high school my children have thrived as result of the academics and social environment. I've had a child who managed some bullying in middle school and the school was amazing. I have a child in special education, and they are flourishing. My engagement with the counselors and teachers has been nothing but wonderful. The only negative I see is with the School Board and THE PARENTS. Our School Board is pulled too far either left or too far right. The political fighting is out of hand. There is no middle ground, and it is extremely frustrating as a parent who is not a liberal or a conservative.
