Greendale Middle School was a terrible experience for me, especially in 7th grade. In my science class, students spread a false and humiliating rumor about me doing something sexual in the classroom. It was completely untrue, but it spread anyway, and the damage was already done.The bullying seriously affected my mental health, which was already fragile at the time. I am autistic and have an IEP, and instead of being protected or taken seriously, I felt brushed aside. When my mom and I reported the situation, the assistant principal only gave the students a warning and said if it happened again they’d get Friday school. That was it. No real consequences. No real support.Because of that weak response, the bullying continued, and I had to deal with the same students again in 8th grade. The school failed to create a safe environment, especially for students with disabilities. I did not feel respected, protected, or heard.This school talks about caring for students, but when it actually mattered, they did the bare minimum. If you’re a parent of a student with an IEP or special needs, be cautious. Bullying is not handled seriously here.In my experience, this is one of the worst schools in Indiana.

School was a complete joke. A lot of bullying goes on here. The guidance counselor was a drama queen and loved trouble. A lot of the teachers were mean. Avoid this school at all costs.
