"45 minutes to get to work. Sometimes there are accidents on this two lane road. Dangerous because of only two lanes"
  • Becky D.
"It's quiet and beautiful. Close to Lake Anna and restaurants. Far drive to major shopping but if your like the country this is the place for you!"
  • Becki Tryon Steele
"We moved here 3 months ago, have four houses within sight, and no one has introduced themselves or even so much as waved. If you're looking for privacy, you'll love it!"
  • Wrfrench321
"Bears.lots and lots of bears eating dogs. So many bears you just don’t know although I have actually named the bears. One is killer who eats big dogs. The other is smoky, who has actually turned to vaping, he (maybe a she, I don’t get close enough), is rather moody. Other then all of the bears, I think dog walkers would like our neighborhood. Thanks for asking. I will be here all week."
  • Rrhughes01
"There are community events throughout the whole county all the time. It is alot of word of mouth and on bulletin boards on local country stores. "
  • Melissa S.
"This Lake has the serenity we all long for. The fun we crave and the community involvement we need."
  • donnadelongmatthews
"I grew up in Louisa County and have lived in Bumpass for the past almost two years. Bumpass is a perfect retirement or family area with near by Lake Anna. Very peaceful with low traffic and noise. "
