"This is an upscale Russell Lands development on Lake Marin. It is a gated community, with a community swimming pool, a fitness center, tennis courts, a community beach, and a full service marina. Most of the homes are located on the lake with boating piers. It has a mixture of full time residents and homes that are used for vacations, primarily in the summer months and during the Auburn football season."

"I lived in Newsite until I was 25 years old. I it a quiet, quaint place to live. There isn't much shopping or many restaurants in Newsite but it's only 15-20 min to town and 45 to Auburn for shopping, dining, and night life. There's something to be said for living in a small town, I loved it there."

"Awesome location on Lake Martin. Less than 3 minutes to Russell Crossroads Town Center which is home to Springhouse Restaurant, Catherine's Market, The Stables and the ever growing Russell Forest Trail System with more than 100 miles of trails. 5 minutes to Kowaliga Restaurant and The Amp for fireworks, concerts and special events."
