As a parent, I appreciate the great education that my son received at Ennis High School. He is intelligent and was challenged by his teachers. All of his teachers were very caring and taught him good life lessons along with preparing him for college. He is very successful and the teachers and entire staff deserve recognition for everything they did to help him grow as an individual. I highly recommend Ennis Schools. They will prepare students for college or a career if the student takes at least some responsibility for their learning. Thank you to all of the caring staff from bus drivers to custodians, secretaries, aides, cooks, teachers, and administrators. It takes a village and you have done an outstanding job!

My child is new and has been welcomed by the staff and students. My child is excelling in academics. A very happy student!

My children enjoy the school, the teachers, and students in Ennis Junior High. The teachers genuinely care about their students and go out of their way to encourage them, support them, teach outside of class hours, and even spend their own money on the kids. It's truly amazing to see so many invested teachers in one school. The classrooms are centered between the Elementary and High School rooms, all sharing one building. This environment allows older students to be a Teacher's Aide in the rooms with younger students. It fosters a closer relationship between students of all ages and allows for more interactions.Junior High sports are limited because of the size and location of the school. However, the sports that are offered are highly utilized. The only negative is that there is no longer a School Resource Officer (SRO) in the school to protect our children and train our teachers on safety protocols. I hope the school can obtain one in the future as school shootings and violence against innocent ones, still takes place in our society.
