There is a generous deck facing West with the most stunning view of the sunset The main living room has exposed ceiling rafters enhancing the "rustic" look The wood burning fireplace has an efficient fireplace insert and the kitchen travertine floor has a cabin medallion! BEST OF ALL the kitchen floor and the entry room floors are heated! Slate style stone backsplash and propane stove. Small breakfast bar divides the kitchen from the living room. The bathroom has a jacuzzi tube/shower with travertine tiles The bedroom has patio style doors leading to the deck So close to all of the hiking trails, steams, water falls, ski lifts, Mt. Baldy Lodge and night moon hikes. Come on up and stay awhile as you will be pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere cool gentle breezes and fresh air of this tranquil Mt. Baldy dream house. Our fire place is warm and inviting and the main living area is very open and spacious There are lots of windows in all directions with lots of natural sun light The kitchen is just off the main living area. The bathroom is outfitted with a giant spa tub shower combination so you can relax after a day if hiking or dinner at the world famous Mt. Baldy lodge! The master bedroom is super cozy with a giant walk in closet and the cabin has the very special features of hard wood walls and lots of soft lighting. Let the outdoors in and vice versa! Truly the perfect weekend get a way or vacation at home every day. This cabin has a picture perfect location which is easy to get to during all seasons of the year! The cabin is located on Forest Service land and the lease is about $700 per year Come on up and hang out and enjoy all that we have to offer. The back yard deck is perfect for entertaining friends and family. If you are looking for an investment this cabin is currently leased so you would have built in rental income as well In 2005 the owners put on a brand new roof !Can park right at the front door lot is all level and double paned windows.

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a parent who pays attention to so many details to various things, the most recent reviews of the school sound as if they were written by someone in administration. Many of the terms I only have heard being used by them when they have parent meetings. Is there thruth in what they mention? Yes, for some things. There’s an aspect of the school that feels magical and tight knit. Yet, it also has its flaws. As some of the previous reviews mention, the principal is currently teaching in the class with the higher grades as is the instructional coach. While they might believe that is an asset, in conversation with other parents, some of us have a real concern that they are taking on too much while other things may be falling by the wayside. Some of us have doubts that bringing this up will actually have a positive effect or if we’ll be truly heard. I’m currently writing this review as I contemplate whether I want to continue bringing my children next year, since they just sent out an intent-to-return form. I’m considering the fact that the principal is currently teaching, the change in communication (either lacking or it being last minute), not knowing how much money was raised during their fundraisers or where the money goes, they don’t go on field trips. One of the things that attracted our family to this school was the outdoors, however, based on what my children report, only the higher grades do more outdoor activities. We’ve also not had a great experience with staff not taking relational aggression concerns we’ve had with our kids seriously. They had reported that they would be working with classes on resolving or providing tools for that, but again, considering that they don’t have enough full time teachers, that doesn’t seem to be a priority. One of the biggest cons that we as a family are considering is that there’s no extra curricular sports or electives for the younger grades. Yes, they have music and art, but even that went from happening twice a week to once a week. We really wanted to love this school, but are now exploring other options, and debating on returning next year.Parent Review5mo ago - Alta Loma High School
