I don't know it's a pretty chill school, can be miserable at times but that's more a me thing. It's a good school if you want your kids to go here, I suppose. But only let them go here if they're cool :)

The teachers overall are high quality and dedicated. Both the principal and assistant principal go a great job. They cannot always immediately meet the needs of all 1000 students, but who could? Big schools have more opportunities but they also have downsides.

Mrs. KENDRICK is seriously the best 1st grade teacher I have ever met. She truely loves and cares about her children! :)

Run away. I wish I could post screen shots of conversations- just in the last month - in the gull lake parents Facebook group. They are SO awful- attacking each other, attacking the PTO, attacking bus drivers, threatening other parents.Here’s a couple winners that were posted in the last week: “When you use racist language at home, your kids use racist language. When you don’t show compassion……….” Poll given to turn off anonymous posting : “people are distrusting. You call yourselves adults?!”Admin: “Some of you reported one post and some others, saying it was ‘threatening’……”“I love how this person threatens people on a Facebook group and blames her child’s issues on….” There are SO many like this. Additionally, many posts about kids getting bullied, and parents saying they’re going to fight each other. It’s absolutely insane. I’ve had experiences with the principal and 3 teachers at Ryan. The principal misrepresented something difficult my daughter had experienced, which was difficult for me to wrap my head around - I kept thinking there must’ve been a misunderstanding because the lack of integrity was so hard to accept- but having gone over it multiple times, I realized it was intentional. Just a bad school and a nasty district. Really sad to be here
