My child currently attends BPS I’m very much disappointed with how the administration,her teacher and counselor have handled her being bullied. My husband and I were told last year to respect the bullies culture because the child is a person of color. Keep in mind this child was pulling my child’s hair,tripping her and going out of his way to single her out. When my husband and I spoke with the principal and requested our daughter to be moved out of class to another class we were told in the real world you can’t separate from people you don’t like. My child never had a problem with not liking the other child. My child was being bullied! I feel like BPS is an unsafe environment and should be investigated how things are being handled. They like to sweep bullying under the rug and make everything about racism.

Very long boring days, classes feel very long and repetitive, often times finding yourself sitting and starring at a wall for hours of the day. Students don’t respect teachers or the building itself. There are many fights through the year. There are good teachers who do want to show kids how to learn but work at a school that makes it very hard and have students who refuse to try. Vapes are a big problem in the school. Wish there was a bigger focus on allowing those who want to learn to be able to, over those who refuse to respect the school or fellow piers.
