Brandy Dunivan was my teacher in middle school and a current educator at Flintville School in Flintville, TN. She always said something to me that stuck with me that I didn’t realize was an insult immediately. She would tell me “You would make a great lawyer when you grow up,” as an adolescent and insult me and others to our faces. She is evil and that statement as well as other statements she made to me during school have cause extra years of therapy, a trip to the mental hospital, and trying to unlearn the things she told me I was. She told me I was a “mean girl”, that I’d never make it in life, and now I’m 21 using my degree and the insane amount of money that I earn now to live in Seattle.. lol. Anywho, learning that she is STILL an educator and probably still causing kids lifelong trauma really upset me. There are days I think about it and it feels like it just happened. Brandy Dunivan, remember that your words affect people… for a lifetime. You were someone who was respected, no one would have talked to you or treated you the way you outright treated me. Maybe I was a little different. I never fit in. But Brandy Dunivan made sure I knew, and she put it in my head at the age where everything was falling apart. She didn’t know what I was dealing with at home, and she couldn’t have cared less.

I graduated this school in 2011. This school was wonderful. The teacher and staff were friendly and they helped students. I had a wonderful four years at this school and ninth grade academy.
