  • Julia Musgrove
"This neighborhood is known for its crime, just make sure you install doorbell cameras and don’t have packages delivered when you aren’t home."
  • Jesus Medina
"To not let them kids out on the street because it can be dangerous, but it’s nice when the weather gets nice "
  • Michelle Z.
"I've lived in the area for two years of college. The access to bus lines, distance from Ohio State University and food/store needs is nice. But it is not a place you plan to stay around for if you are able to afford somewhere nicer/reach the end of your college career. A few of the main consistent concerns were theft, drunk college kids, and pests. But the biggest red flag would be the theft. You will VERY quickly learn just how ridiculously common porch pirating, mail theft, bike stealing, car-breaking-into, and etc. are around these parts. P"
  • Gus Stead
"Violence and kids drinking is the highlight of this area. Cheap rent comes at a price and if you live somewhere near here you’re sure to pay"
  • Trulia User
"its on campus its loud and fun if your young and dont mind a lil noise . Other than an ocasional hoot or holler from someone its not that bad here and at least there is all sorts of thinga to do."
  • Dylan S.
"Moved here from pickerington, my first place on my own.. I was more nervous before I moved.. I was convinced I was going to buy ring cameras to discourage break ins etc.. as soon as I moved in that anxiety disappeared. The neighbors in my building are nice and respectful, my next door neighbors to one side are a nice family with kids, the other side is young adults who don’t seem like college kids. Parking on the main road is impossible on weekends during the school year especially football season but I have my own parking behind my building. Very short distance from a old north, good bars and restaurants in the area. I would consider it on the border of campus and not full on campus area. I would consider it an area on the rise. "
  • Trulia User
"Vibrant energy from students, able to walk to concerts, film houses, major libraries, and big sporting events."
  • Trulia User
"There is a lot of sound and a lot of energy. It is unpredictable in both bad and great ways. There is ALWAYS something interesting going on within walking distance and the great libraries of Ohio State are open to the public. It is trashy, splashy, unique, and very very alive here."
  • Trulia User
"It's a transient neighborhood and it's rather nice in a sense that I never had issues. I feel safe being out even late. But always be safe and cautious. Mainly college age and small families."
  • Michelle M.
"If you have kids, I wouldn’t move here. It’s too dangerous. Don’t get packages delivered to your door if you’re not home, at least 50% of the time they’ll get stolen. It’s a mix between college kids, and low income single adults, not a great place for a family."
  • Vanessa W.
"There is always off street parking(unless it's a GameDay, then it takes a bit longer to find parking) "
  • Melissa
"The only community event that I know of in this area is "Chitt fest", and I have never attended it. "
