Been there, pretty chill. Really good. Teachers are good at making lectures digestible for the most part in all of the classes I took. College center is helpful.

My children are very well prepared for what follows the middle school years. They have also recently relocated to a newer building. It is the best middle school, with the best staff, and the best students.

From the previous years reviews, I would have to say, the DRE that was being lead or the lack of leadership, is a thing of the past. The current principal's enthusiasm to create a positive, welcoming, parent/teacher involved learning experience, can be felt throughout the campus. No one is left out when special opportunities or events occur on here. The new leadership gives its staff the chance to shine in their gifts and talents, outside of teaching, which in turn helps provide a greater experience to their students. As campuses begin to have less restrictions on them from COVID precautions, more clubs and groups are being created for students to be involved. Academically, students will be challenged to rise to achieve their best and given help where there may be weaknesses. As a parent, I really do love that my child is a student of Dora Romero. I look forward to her remaining years and helping make DRE the best school in the district.
