I have been so impressed with the positive changes at Ross Elementary over the past several years under the outstanding leadership of Dr. Nick Gardner. The school has become a welcoming, family-friendly environment where students and families truly feel valued. I have three grandchildren attending Ross, and I genuinely feel that the teachers and staff care about helping students succeed academically while also encouraging them to become kind, responsible citizens. Like any school, there are occasionally conflicts between students, after all they're kids. But I've consistently seen the staff respond quickly, compassionately, and in partnership with families to resolve issues.Ross's Signature Music Program is a wonderful opportunity that gives students unique experiences they might not have elsewhere. The school also offers numerous family engagement events throughout the year, and it's amazing to see how many families participate. That level of involvement says a lot about the welcoming culture Dr. Gardner and staff has created. Ross is a great school, and I would recommend it to any family looking for a supportive, caring, and engaging learning environment within USD 501.

Sadly, I do not have one positive thing to say about this school.

I love going to highland park high-school it very fun it like a movie but one thing I dislike is the fact teachers tell you what you CAN or CAN'T do in life because of your background. But other than that it very fun there many different clubs you can join if you don't know ask someone which club do they prefer. I play volleyball, basketball, and softball all varsity minute. great coaches lovely team ( girls basketball wins sub-state title last year) ( I made team 2 for the school league volleyball team). but i just wanna finish by saying IT GREAT TO BE A SCOT.
